In protest against the impending anti-immigration law set to take effect on July 29th, Fifth Faction was in attendance at the Sound Strike show featuring Rage Against the Machine at the Hollywood Paladium. Needless to say, Rage left the house in rubble...For all those interested, PLEASE visit www.thesoundstrike.net to sign the petition and voice your anger against this law! SB 1070 is an attempt to advocate and legalize racial profiling and is a step backwards in bringing people of different ethnicity TOGETHER! So as the fellas from Rage said last night...."F*CK ARIZONA!"

Congratulations, to Fifth Faction producer and mad scientist Rudy-pooh, on the birth of his new baby daughter! May she be the muse to harness the musical insanity...

In the chaos after the Ron Artest rebound buzzer-beater, and with the Laker masses pouring from Staples in jubilation...I happened to notice a Flea by my shoulder...and yes, that is Popcornopolis in my hand.

The PANDORA music movement will soon include good ol' Fifth Faction in the very near future! We are extremely excited to be on the Pandora rotation. No word on a specific date or even under what category of music you can find us...But it should only take a couple of months before "Shoulder That Arm" is scanned into their database. Much thank's to PANDORA for giving us a listen and providing an opportunity for new listener's to check us out!

In short.

Work is underway for an upcoming album. The music is in it's infancy, however the maturation process has begun. Nothing has been recorded as of yet, but my dome piece is mentally recording like crazy. That, and the voice recorder on my Blackbery. I will say that this music has the potential to be our very best! Looking forward to sharing it with you...eventually.

For the "legions" of Fifth Faction followers wondering where the hell we've been and why all is quiet, rest assured that we are still inching at a snail-like pace toward some new music. In fact, I was just going over material a couple mornings ago on my way to work, recording various snipets and sound bytes on the voice recorder of my phone....Yes, it has gotten that bad.

Gone are the days when I could spend countless hours putting the pen to paper only to inevitably scratch out an entire session of work and then start all over again the next day. The solo toking nights when the music bumped my block 'til 12 am are also gone, and so have the more mature meditative writing episodes at the park with the iPod and my thoughts.

Now, I barely have time to know what the news of the day is, and the only inspiration for music comes from the mundane drive from home to work, to school, and then home again. Just today did I realize how much I miss the artistic mindset needed to make this music and it motivated me enough to write to anyone who frequents our webpage.

With that said...The maestro IS still concocting mad experiements in the "hit factory" and has informed me of several new rough beats to begin working on. Along with several other tracks in progress, maybe, just maybe, a new album can be completed sometime before the end of days.

WHY I LIKE BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

Barack Hussein Obama may yet turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to the United States of America.

Obama has been caught in lie after lie. His National Security Advisor has stated he takes his daily orders from Henry Kissinger, the one man widely viewed as the architect of our disastrous Foreign Policy, the policy which has done so much to turn foreign extremists into implacable enemies.

Obama’s cabinet reads like a roster of secretive societies such as the Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission and the international Bilderbergers. His cry of “change” now rings hollow.

Obama’s policy of continuing unrestrained illegal immigration will destroy the last vestiges of national cohesion. Gun-control legislation pending in Congress will eviscerate the Second Amendment. The new “Food Safety Modernization Act” will eventually outlaw private gardens. Soon only the giant multinational corporations will control all food and water.

Obama’s so-called Stimulus Package is widely viewed as throwing non-existent money after bad while rewarding malfeasance.

Obama’s brand of Marxist Socialism will continue to take from the poor and give to the rich, betraying his supporters.

Obama’s form of collectivism has socialized the banking system and now the auto industry. Others will soon follow. More power is being gathered into the federal government than could ever be imagined by his predecessors.

In following a Socialist philosophy which proved so fatal to communism, he has set the nation on a course for disaster.

He has helped further the dissatisfaction and disdain of the Executive Branch engendered by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. It now joins the Legislative Branch which already has an approval rating that dips into the single digits. The Judicial Branch is packed with persons selected by former leaders now viewed as incompetent, if not criminals.

But the activities of Obama and his followers may have finally broken the illusion embraced by many Americans about the United States. They now see the empty political rhetoric for what it as – mere words followed by the inaction, or worse, the opposite of what was promised.

Americans now more clearly see that individuals, working at the local level, can take care of local problems better than a faceless, bloated and entrenched bureaucracy in Washington, D.C. More and more are realizing that citizens must regain their rights as free individuals.

The spirit of individual liberty is once again alive in the land. Many Americans today are putting aside the outdated politically-correct notions of liberal vs. conservative and Democrat vs. Republican. They are beginning to wake up to the fact that a handful of super-wealthy individuals and families, many with foreign entanglements, have long sought to control the free Republic of the United States and bring it to its knees.

Already, legislation to regain state sovereignty is moving in many state capitols. After all, without state’s rights how can there be any individual rights? Many Texans are even considering reclaiming their Republic, a legal move fully justified by the articles which brought it into the Union in the first place.

True freedom is on the move.

This is why I like Barack Hussein Obama.

It's been way overdue for a news update about Fifth Faction music. If your wondering why all is quiet on that end, here is the answer...It's not always easy doing what your most passionate about when life responsibilites demand all your time and energy. And that's been the case with us. However, writing is still continuing (at a snail-like pace) and I'm hoping to have atleast two new songs completed soon!!!

Here are some questions that leap to mind: Why do I have an uneasy feeling watching this video? Why did Donald Rumsfeld have a contributing hand in spearheading this 1976 "Swine Flu" outbreak? What do pharmaceutical co.'s have to gain? And what chemicals are put into our bodies when we submissively get injected?

Despite a couple misteps along the Minoa Fall's trail...I dusted off the clay-like mud and moved on to the historic Diamond Head hike overlooking Honolulu, O'ahu. There was plenty of motivation knowing that McGoo's Burgers & Shaved Ice awaited back below! That and the senior citizens I wasn't about to let beat me to the top!!! Much prop's to the terminator style joggers who charged up the crater and barely noticed the beauty at the peak.

Yes folks, tis the season to be very hopeful that the impending doom spoken by many scholars can be avoided. Or, if your 2013 optomists, then maybe the revolution is exactly what we need. Either way, gather the information and brace yourself....

Though we're not commiting to saying a new album is underway, we are writing and recording a couple new song's. We'll keep the updates coming on the new tune's.

With that said, continue checking back for news on the inevitable collapse of life as we know it. Change is rapidly arriving folks. Be prepared for it.....

So, here we are. It is the night before election day, and though much of the country is ready to parade for a president not named BUSH, I am not so optomistic. If you are enthusiastic about the history making nomination of America's first black president, then GOOD. If you are enthusiastic about BARACK OBAMA, why? Not to be cynical, I hope I am completely wrong here. But what "CHANGE" that his campaign was based on has he really promised? Now listen...In no way shape or form am I saying, "Go vote for MCCAIN". I am saying, don't be surprised if your dissappointed by the OBAMAchine!

For 8 years I like for most of you, have waited for this day to come. The end of the Bush Regime. And for the last 2 years I have followed the candidates and have tried to gather as much info on them as I can. Much of the information I have passed along and posted on our website or Myspace page. And, while wanting to become excited about Obama, I discovered that his strings seem to point toward an agenda that should worry all of us...It was only through personal research and analysis that I decided RON PAUL was the best choice for the country. That's right, a REPUBLICAN!!! Now, obviously Ron Paul is not going to be president, niether will Ralph Nader, unfortunately. But, the support of these types of candidates represents something very significant. Primarily a call for "real" change.

Support of a alternative candidate speaks towards issues, ideas, and a philosophy against the status-quo. The status-quo that enslaves each and every one of us not born of an elite lineage.

Once again, election day provides the lesser of two evil's decision to make. And for most, it's a clear decision. (i.e. 2000) But, when your in that booth tomorrow, remember the feeling of "HOPE" being sold, so that you can be really fucking pissed off if it's not delivered!
